Ah the moral delima. We want a small gov with little regulation over the private sector and thus we are seeing the fruit of that. No leverage to make the private sector hire. The only way to get those guys to start hiring is to throw more money at them.

All I have to say is the earth is 6 billion years old (yalls number not mine), has had asteriod attack after meter attack, went through the Permian Triassic event which wiped out 90% of species on earth. Then went through the Cretaceous-Tertiary event which wiped out another 60%.
